Art Asylum, complementing its existing line of Marvel MiniMates, is set to release a series of MiniMates from the Distinguished Competition.
Wonder Woman is the first of many DC MiniMates we'll see in the next few weeks. Art Asylum has the rights to produce a great number of DC characters, though the figures won't be released by themselves or in multi-packs; all figures will be included with build-it-yourself playsets and vehicles. Also of note is that the Art Asylum JLA license applies to the animated versions of the characters only, so for example, Green Lantern will be John Stewart, not Kyle Rayner or Hal Jordan.
Art Asylum also holds the license to the Batman animated properties, as well as to the upcoming 'year one' movie.
