Summary:
Identity Crisis Issue 6 kicks off with Tim drake rushing up the stairs of his house in desperation to get to his father. Batman is not far behind and warns him not to touch anything. Tim makes it into the room to find his father and Boomerang in a giant puddle of blood. The next panel speaks for itself, a horrified Tim drake is being held by Batman.
The panels switch to the investigation of this incident, where the boomerangs son is demanding to see his father. He’s told he’s not allowed in. The young man protests pointing towards batman and is still turned away.
From here it begins to show how everyone has lost someone over the years. Aquaman and J’onn reflect on their loved ones, A statue of Hal Jordan is shown, wonder woman planting flowers at her mother’s grave, the grieve stricken elongated man by himself. The next page is a full-page symbolic showing of loss. It portrays a young Bruce Wayne standing there next to Alfred when his parents were killed, then Bruce standing next to Dick Grayson at the circus, trying to comfort him, and then Bruce next to Tim, trying to convince him it will be alright.
Life is supposedly returning to normal, criminals winning their court cases, Clark hugging Lois, and then a giant panel of Dr. Light sitting in a chair by himself. The camera closes up on Light’s face, showing an evil grin. (Awesome Page.)
Boomerang’s son is seen suiting up in his own boomerang suit, and then it shows green arrow, apparently being attacked by Deathstroke. The panel next to it cuts to Deathstroke’s mask pinned to a wall there’s a note that reads:
“This Is Yours—We’re not done.”
Flash has run top speed toward Green Arrow and the two begin to talk. Flash mentions that when Green Arrow told him the story of how they erased Dr. Light’s memory he said there were seven members of the JLA there. However when flash received a flashback from being attacked by dr. light he definitely remembers batman being there in the vision. Green Arrow says nothing, just looks down.
Flash demands an answer to why he didn’t tell him Batman wasn’t there the first time. Green arrow then reveals that batman walked in on them erasing Dr. Light’s memory and didn’t want it to happen what happens next is unbelievable.
(I’ll put what happens next in spoilers section, so if you don’t want to know, you don’t have to read that )
The scene ends and it cuts to the calculator on the phone with clients claiming he had no clue that boomerang was going to be killed. It cuts to batman storming down an alleyway and into an empty room. He rummages through several things and then it shows the doctors examining Sue Dibny’s body. (I think that’s how you spell her last name..) They find something that completely shocks me and I can’t believe it. I don’t want to believe that this is the cold-blooded murderer whose been running around the DC universe. (More in spoiler section)
The last scene shows Ray Palmer and Jean Loring getting into bed with one another. The final dialogue in the comic is as follows.
“I’m not sure I like the look in your eyes.”-Jean
“What Look” –Ray, lights turn out. “I don’t see anything.”

My Rating: 8 out of 10
My opinion: I’m floored with this series, its been an emotional roller coaster from the start. This issue was sort of toned down; no major fighting but still shocked the hell out of me. I love Rags Morales’ art; he’s an awesome pencilist. I was literally glued to this comic down to the last few pages. Definitely worth picking up.
