Summary:
Last Issue ended oh so quickly with readers dieing to see the next issue. After a brutal attack from gambit wolverine has regenerated and tracked down gambit and rogue at the Strucker twins complex. This issue however begins with the rest of the x-men in the x-jet right outside the facility. Scott and jean exchange words about rogue and then angel lets the team know that he knows the strucker twins.
Angel claims that many people don’t know if the twins are lovers or siblings. Dazzler makes a comment about how unoriginal this is, and how the white stripes had a problem similar to it. Iceman buts in, ranting about how they should be thinking about how to get rogue back and not about the twins.
The scene changes to where the reader left off last issue, its an awesome full page shot of wolverine in a crouched position ready to fight. His claws are drawn, rogue looks surprised and the Cajun looks horrified.
Gambits eyes begin to glow and he threatens to kill wolverine. Wolverine just retracts his claws claiming he doesn’t need them to take gambit down and viciously head butts gambit. The head butt is followed by several more kicks and punches, with gambits cards flying everywhere.
The strucker twins are shown back in their room, the boy stroking his jaw and wincing. He says that he cant believe that white trash girl touched him, a right only reserved for his twin. (I really don’t know what to make of that, if they’re related then…blech. )
Back in the X-jet iceman has become hostile. He’s demanding Scott to bring the x-jet down into the building so they can just hop out and rescue rogue. Cyclops refuses, he already has a plan formulated and says that he won’t change it. Besides they can’t fly the plane into a building without the citizens below seeing them and possibly thinking they were terrorists. Cyclops says that jean has a cloak over them long enough to carry out his plans. Iceman isn’t happy.
Bobby then demands that Nightcrawler teleport him inside the room. Kurt protests, because he needs to have an idea of where he’s teleporting to in order to ensure safety. This isn’t a necessity for iceman who simply states that if he didn’t teleport him inside right now, he’d freeze Kurt’s ears off.
