Talk about these new figures in our forums
A most excellent line indeed, and miles better than some of DC Direct's past efforts! This may be the first time I buy an entire set of DC Direct figures!
Even if I didn't know who any of those characters were, Killer Croc and Man-Bat would be "MUST HAVES" just for being such awesome werebeast action figures!!!
Way to go DC Direct!
I Disagree.
The figures look fantastic, BUT, articulation and play value are a MUST HAVE, to keep them interesting, especially to adults who are buying these for their children.
Posted by: Brett at December 13, 2004 11:17 PMI think this series looks great. I think DC is going straight for the adult audience and I applaud them for it.

Posted by: cordon at December 14, 2004 12:17 AMI love this new line.
Posted by: Keegan at December 14, 2004 05:37 PMThe sculpts are of the highest quality, they really capture the essance of the charectors. I wish they could have made the scarecrow instead of The Penguin.

Posted by: Piecemeal at December 15, 2004 12:22 AMWish they had a Batman that went along with this style.
Posted by: O at December 15, 2004 02:55 PMThis line is a great start to some of the villains we want and should be getting.I like everyone in this line BUT MR.FREEZE.He looks like he,s going underwater to fight Aquaman or the Batman from that 60's tv show.Thay could have done a much BETTER JOB ON HIM then this. He's the only one i WON'T pick up from this line. The one from Mattel is fine for me,but if they redesign Mr Freeze(thay have the time) to look like the one from Mattel a little or from the ultimate guide to the Dark Knight book. Then ill buy him.I'm sorry DC Direct but if you want me to spend $20 dollars EACH for a figure, you'll have to add more articulation & accessories.Your on my CUTTING LIST for next year,so PUMP IT UP-ALOT!
P.S.On the plus side Marvel legends could LEARN something from a VILLIANS ONLY TOY line like. this.
They look cool, but I do NOT really like the Mr. Freeze. Scarecrow is in the HUSH series 3 line, so it would not be worth it to put another Scarecrow out a few months after the other one from the Hush line.

Posted by: projecthush17 at December 17, 2004 04:12 AMThis is a maybe line for me in fact DCD are becoming a maybe company to me these days. I find once the figures are on my shelves they get left there. My Marvel Legends on the other hand get moved about and reposed all the time. Shame because DCD make innovataive choices when it comes to figures and the sculpts are usually nice.
