The Batman Batcave Wins Award

Scene It?™ Jr. DVD Game, The Batman™ Batcave™ Playset and Polly Pocket™ Radio Controlled Limo Receive Highest Honors on NBC's Ultimate Toy Awards Show

Mattel, Inc. (NYSE:MAT) received the distinction of "The Ultimate Toy" for the Scene It?™ Jr. DVD Game, The Batman™ Batcave™ Playset, and the Polly Pocket™ Radio Control Limo, in their respective categories, on the Ultimate Toy Awards Show, a one-of-a-kind award program celebrating play, family entertainment and the toy industry, which aired Saturday, Nov. 4 on NBC and the PAX Network.

Consumers, along with the American toy press, voting on their favorite toys in 20 different categories deemed Scene It?™ Jr. the winner in the Games & Puzzles category, and The Batman™ Batcave™ Playset winner in the Action & Adventure category; while the Polly Pocket™ Radio Control Limo by KIDesign® received top honors in the radio control category.

"Scene It?™ Jr. represents a new generation of board games," said Jim Silver, editor-in-chief of Toy Wishes magazine.
