Summary:

Last issue wrapped up the short Dr. Strange two issue shot. This Issue starts off with a flash back of the day peter parker obtained his powers. They show the spider bite him; Mary Jane throws the spider and Kong stomp on it.

M.J. rides next to peter on the way home and the next scene changes to the front of her house. There she sits reading by herself when Harry Osborn walks up to her. The two exchange words about how he keeps her at arms length in public, and how Mary Jane wants to sit with him on the bus.

Harry apologizes but accuses M.J. of trying to make him jealous. M.J. says its his father’s fault and though her dad may be a ‘hole’ too he’s allowed to come over.

This is when Harry screams at her but then apologizes, they talk about how Mary Jane looks good without glasses but still looks attractive with them.

Next panel shows the two kissing. The view zooms out with them kissing and the time changes to the present.

A villain is shown, apparently he can control electricity and has spidey knocked out cold. He threatens to cut spider-man open unless two people unlock the safe. One person says “go ahead, do it. We don’t know him”

This is when spidey springs to life and pummels the no-name villain and begins complaining about missing lunch. He heads back to school where he finds that he did in fact miss lunch.

Mary Jane calls for peter and when he turns around Harry is standing there with flash and Kong. The two greet each other, peter still in shock and then they have to leave for class.

Peter warns M.J. to stay away from Harry, because he might remember everything that happened and he doesn’t want Mary Jane thrown off any more bridges. She retorts back exclaiming that she didn’t kill Gwen and runs off.

The setting changes once more, showing peter arriving back home. He greets Aunt May and it appears they are packing up. Aunt May exclaims that tomorrow is moving day.

Next page is a full-page shot of peter in the basement alone, he thinks to himself about Harry, and where nick fury could have possibly sent him. More importantly he worried if Harry even remembered anything. Suddenly someone says from behind him,

“What are you doing?”

Its Harry Osborn, he steps out of the shadows and asks peter why he’s moving. Peter explains about Uncle Ben and then Gwen Stacy, Harry says he understands and peter asks him where he’s been.

Harry says they sent him away to Colorado to keep him away from his ‘super villain father’.

Peter realizes what Harry’s saying and asks him if he remembers what happened.
Harry opens the trunk next to peter and pulls out the spider-man mask.

Peter asks Harry what he wants from him. Harry says nothing, just examines the mask. Finally he says that he’s trying to put things in perspective. He talks about how peter becomes a famous super hero, and how his own life is destroyed, as he knows it. And how every time his father goes nuts, there’s peter.

Then he says, “And I come back to Queens, and who’s dating my girlfriend…”

Peter stares at him in disbelief and the issue ends.

To Be Continued…

Best Page: Last page,Full-page shot of Peter and Harry

My Rating: 9 out of 10

My opinion: This issue had my attention from the second I flipped the page, I couldn’t believe what I was reading throughout the entire issue. Bendis has shocked me again, this arc looks to be the best in a while!!! Pick up this issue asap!!

Well that’s all from me, hope you all enjoyed my review. Thanks.
