Twenty-five years after her introduction in Uncanny X-Men #129, Kitty Pryde continues to be one of Marvel Comics' most popular mutants. This summer, she'll jump from the pages of Astonishing X-Men into her own six-issue mini-series, X-Men: Kitty Pryde -- Shadow & Flame, written by Akira Yoshida (X-Men: Age of Apocalypse) and illustrated by veteran X-Men artist Paul Smith.
Kitty's presence in an X-Men story always generates excitement, while Yoshida and Smith are renowned for their own best selling contributions to the X-Men franchise. Their fans, combined with Kitty's, should enthusiastically seek out this new mini-series, which will confront the phasing mutant with ninjas, dragons (other than her own pet, Lockheed, who tags along), and much more.
X-Men: Kitty Pryde -- Shadow & Flame #1 (APR051871, $2.99) is scheduled to ship on June 29.
