In order to confront the "Mutant Menace", the government funded the Industrialist, Bolivar Trask, to move forward with his Sentinel Initiative. Trask designed and manufactured the massive Sentinels to hunt down and destroy anyone carrying the mutant gene. Many mutants have fallen to these giants, despite the X-Men and their ability to turn these behemoths into scrap piles.
Colossus and Cyclops have teamed to defeat a massive Sentinel, recently relieved of both head and hand. Colossus stands triumphant with the Sentinel’s massive head held high, while Cyclops scans the horizon for signs of incoming attack. Continuing the Marvel Diorama series, X-Men VS Sentinel #1 is an immense piece, standing over 19” tall. Each piece is hand cast and hand painted to exacting standards, and the underside of the base is printed with the artist’s signature and edition information.
