FALL TS05: Playmates' Marvel and DC Battle Dice Roll into 2006

Playmates will be introducing a new action-packed mini-figure game early next year when it unveils Battle Dice, an easy to understand game using characters from both the Marvel and DC universes.

The play is simple: each player roles a six-sided die with a Marvel/DC character inside. Each die and superhero have their own unique powers and abilities, so rolling against an opponent and winning isn't left completely to chance. However, the person who loses the dice role choses the category that the figures will fight over. Over all game play: 15 minutes. Fast and furious.

A game of both strategy and luck, Playmates' BattleDice will debut in the spring with Wave 1 of the Marvel universe. Each collectible figurine/character will feature a power rating in six categories based on the Marvel Universe Dictionary including speed, intelligence, and strength.

Marvel Battel Dice will launch with a Starter Pack (SRP $9.99- 6 dice/figures), Booster Packs (SRP $5.99- 3 figs and die), Dice Launchers in the form of the Hulk and Thing (SRP $9.99) , Carry Case (SRP $14.99- approx. 40 figs and 40 dice) and a massive Battel Arena (SRP 24.99).
