Our forums members "LegendsofBatman" is back with another great review.
This time around he takes a look at the new Green Goblin Rotocast figure from Toy Biz.

Articulation: 10/10
26 points. Im not sure where all 26 points are, but, the head, shoulders, arms above the elbows, upper and lower elbows, wrists, waist, thighs, legs above the knees, upper and lower knees, and ankles.
Paint: 9.5/10
I know I'm being super pickey here; however, the colors are wrong. But, the paint job is flawless, but, because of the colors, some type of deduction is warranted. Therefore, I am deducting 1/2 a point.
Even so, the colors are awesome. Gobs is wearing a blue suit, with armor, purple gloves, boots, and hood/hat. The detail in the painting is nothing less than spectacular. Tons of detail in perfect shadowing, tones, and color are the best I have seen in any figure in months!
Sculpt: 10/10
Right from the top of his hood, spectacular detail is given. Battle damaged, you see the hat with holes, and green spots of his hideous scalp.
The eyes are piercingly haunting. The yellow eyeballs, with the black irises stare you down, you almost think it actually sees you!
The grimacing clenching teeth, individually scupted actually legitimizes this figure's realism.
The scales and wrinkles and folds of monstrous (plastic) skin haunt you as Goblin plots his evil plans against you.
And, that's just the head.
They could have cheated on the gloves and the boots. But, extreme detail and care went into making sure this figure was worthy to be produced. Rather than flat boots, Toy Biz made the boots very 3-dimensional. As they did with the gloves.
Accesories: 4/10
Two bags come wrapped around his chest.
What's missing, and is where the point deduction comes in, is the obvious missing glider, and pumpkin-bombs.
That is an unforgiveable detail. The one serious flaw in the entire product.
Value: 10/10
$9.99 is an incredible price for this relentlessly detailed work of art. Let's face it; even without the required accessories, this is the best figure of the year. Ok, so, it's only a week old; but, there's been many items thrown at us. None are deservant of our money more than this.
Overall: 9/10
Articulation; extreme detail; excellent paint job. With Mattel/DC joining the rotocast line, Toy Biz made a wise decision to jump up the quality on the newest rotocast figure. They did so without raising prices, altho, when compared to Marvel Legends, and being bigger and better, we could understand if they had.
Yes, they painted him the wrong colors, but, only a handful will sqawk at it, as they did the colors justice. And, yes, they limited the accessories to only two bags, bags that cant even open, to carry the pumpkinbombs, and did not include the glider. But, these do not take away from what is the absolute best rotocast figure to date. From all lines!
Toy Biz, thank you for returning to your former glory on this awesome figure!
