Superman Returns is set to hit theaters this June and Mattel will be ready with everything from action figures to an Inflatable Superman Chest.
We will see two different sizes of action figures in this upcoming line, the standard 5.5 figures, Clark To Superman, Flying Superman, Lex Luthor and many more along with the 7 inch deluxe figures that include electronics or mechanisms that illustrate the power of flight, heat vision or super strength.
The Flight Force deluxe figure contains a gyroscope to create the force and sensation that Superman experiences while in flight. A removable action controller activates the punching strength of the Mega-Punch Deluxe Superman, and LED’s accentuate the eyes of the Heat Vision Deluxe Superman figure.
If you kids at home like I do Mattel has you covered with the Superman Returns dress up sets. The Superman Fight and Fly Cape will have them jumping of the bed so they can feel like they are “flying” with motion activated sound effects that track the kids movements. Need some muscles like Superman? The Superman Returns Inflato Suit is for you, it comes with a dedicated battery-operated fan that inflates the suit to give the kids the perfect Superman muscles. Now that you have your brand new muscles you can try out your new found strength with the Punch and Crush gloves that come with a bendable “steel bar” to show people just how strong you are.
Mattel hasn’t forgotten about the collector in the family, they have called upon the world famous Four Horsemen to sculpt the Hyper Poseable Superman that comes packed with far more articulation then the standard figures that will be released at the same time.
