New Classic Cartoons coming to DVD
BCI has just announced plans to release
Prince Valiant (July 4) ,
She Ra Princess of Power (July 18) ,
Ultra Man (July 18) and
Flash Gordan (July 18) on
DVD. This is big news for She-Ra fans, at one point it looked these great episodes were not going to make to
DVD.
The two disc collectors edition of "She-Ra" includes the top five fan selected episodes, the "Secret of the Sword" theatrical film, the "I Have the Power" music video as well as Easter eggs and commentary from the creators. The custom packaging includes never before seen art card renderings from renowned comic artists Brandon Peterson and Joe Chiodo.
The "Ultraman" Collection is a remastered 3 Disc 20 episode set. For the first time in the
U.S. you can see all the episodes with the original Japanese audio track with the English sub-titles or listen to the English budded tracks created for the
U.S broadcasts by the cast of Speed Racer. All 20 episodes from this first series are all uncut and remastered of the original Tsubuaya Productions television series created by Eiji Tsuburaya, (the special effects genius behind Godzilla).

DVD package of the first 33 episodes of the Prince Valiant series is available for the first time ever in a home media format. Special features include interviews with the creators and directors, episode specific commentary and a slideshow gallery of the Humanities award-winning episode "The Flute."
