Pirates beat Spider-Man and The Sith this past weekend

Pirates of the Caribbean: Dead Man's Chest opened to huge box office numbers over this past weekend with a record $132 million dollars in its first three days beating out every ones favorite wall clawer Spider-Man who held the previous three-day record of $115 million.

The Pirates have also taken out the Sith, with a new first day release record of $55.5 million to the Revenge of the Sith $50 million first day release, along way to breaking records Pirates will also beat Superman Returns box office total this week which now stands at a 12-day tally of $141.7 million.

Spider-Man 3 hits theaters next May, will Spidey be able to regain his title of box office champion?
