Master Replicas has announced today that the Spider-Man Character Statuette that was shown during the 2006 San Diego Comic Con has been removed from the 2007 Marvel line and will be added to 2008 schedule due to increased costs, they will be unable to manufacture the statue at the $199.00 price.
Keith Bornholtz, Vice President of Sales and Marketing for Master Replicas commented, “Standing over two feet tall, the Spider-Man Character Statuette is an impressive piece – but we priced the item wrong compared to similar collectibles in the market and now we are have to go back to the drawing board and figure out how to make this item available to fans at the best possible price.”
