She-Ra Princess of Power coming to DVD

Her predecessor, He-Man, set the bar in the DVD market over the past year. Her own “Best Of” set was a hit at Comic Con. Now, the Princess of Power is ready to reign on her own as BCI, a wholly-owned subsidiary of Navarre Corporation, and UK media company and underlying rights owner, Entertainment Rights Plc (“ER”), proudly introduces “She-Ra: Princess of Power,” Season One, Volume One, available November 7th at a suggested retail price of $49.98. The six DVD pack will include 32 digitally remastered episodes from the first season of the classic ‘80s animated series.

“She-Ra: Princess of Power” Season One, Volume One, is the initial release in a three-volume set that will include all 93 original episodes of the popular animated saga. All three volumes put together will feature a unique She-Ra “spine art mural.”

The six DVDs will include the first 33 episodes of the series, and also feature:
· The documentary “The Stories of She-Ra, Part 1”
· Storyboard-to-episode comparison for Episode One: Into Etheria
· Art cards by Dave Johnson and Humberto Ramos
· Commentary tracks for episodes “The Sea Hawk” and “King Miro’s Journey with writers Larry DiTillio and J. Michael Straczynski, editor Rick Geher and storyboard creator Michael Swanigan. Hosted by Andy Mangels
· 50 Character Profiles
· Interactive “Where’s Loo-Kee” Game
· Easter Eggs
· DVD-ROM features (including scripts for five episodes, series bible, The Secret of the Sword comic book)
· Coloring Book
· “Loo-Kee’s Fun Facts” and Trivia
· Booklet with Episode Guide
· Spanish language audio tracks

“She-Ra: Princess of Power” first aired on television in 1985, as a female-directed spin-off of the popular “He-Man and the Masters of the Universe,” which was into its second season.
