Superhero Times: a service of Action Online
This summer, Mattel will be releasing a new series of 3" figures ready for battle - Battleague.
The action figure game, which will include in its first series 32 unique figures, features a unique combat system unlike other action figure/trading figure games. With four different methods of attack - throwing, punching, flying, and shooting - as well as the ability to literally move (via a roling base), Battleague promises fans more exciting gameplay.
The first series is slated to include numerous versions of the following characters:
- Superman
- Aquaman
- Lex Luthor
- Batman
- Darkseid
- Penguin
- Joker
- Harley Quinn
- Green Arrow
- Robin
- Catwoman
- Two-Face
- Scarecrow
- Green Lantern
- Martian Manhunter
- Mr. Freeze
Sculpted by the Four Horsemen, who's work on the 6" scale DC Superheroes line is well known, these figures showcase an entirely new cast of DC characters outside of the Superman and Batman realm...
With that in mind, should fans expect to see an extended cast of DC heroes and villains in the 6" DC Superheroes line soon?
I'm thinking the possibility is very, very good...
