Mattel HyperScan plans for 2007

Mattel's new HyperScan Game Packs and Booster Packs let kids add to their game collection and play as some of their favorite television and movie characters. Game packs are designed to work with the HyperScan video game system (seen above, available now), each includes one themed video game CD, six themed collectible game cards and a themed owners manual. Booster packs, which allow players to collect more themed collectible game cards for even more fun, include six themed game cards for use with the HyperScan video game system.

New HyperScan Games Packs for 2007 Include:

Marvel Heroes: The Marvel universe comes to life in this HyperScan game, starring favorite superheroes and super-villains. Kids scan collectible game cards to pick their hero, boss, battle area and weather conditions, and then battle it out on their TV for ultimate control of the universe.

Spider-Man 3: As Spider-Man, Peter takes on muggers, street thugs and hardcore heavies, such as Doc Ock, Hobgoblin and Villain, in this fast-paced, action-filled video game. Each game level is a famous New York City landmark, and the story line advances as Spider-Man overcomes challenges and defeats his enemies in each setting, leading to the final confrontation. It may only take a New York-minute to defeat the school bully, but how will Spider-Man fare atop a bridge where he battles the Green Goblin in an attempt to save Mary Jane?
