Hasbro announced their first quarter results for 2007 today with net revenues of $625.3 million, an increase of $157.1 million or 34% compared to $468.2 million a year ago that is due largely in part to the new Marvel line of products, among them being Ghost Rider and Marvel Legends.
The second quarter should also see high revenues for the company as well with the product releases of Spider-man 3 and Fantastic Four : Rise of the Silver Surf merchandise. Sales have been very strong on Spider-man 3 so far with new Fantastic Four toys coming in June.
