ICv2 is reporting that Titan will release Spider-Man: The Icon, a gigantic 320-page full color hardcover with dustjacket, in October. This history of the character by Steve Saffel, formerly of Marvel Comics and Del Rey Books, spans Spidey's full history from his first appearance in Amazing Fantasy through the movie releases.
It will feature never-before-seen art form the Spider-Man cartoons, interviews with Stan Lee, Sam Raimi, and others, and lots of full-color photos of Spider-Man collectibles. The book will be cross-promoted with the Spider-Man 3 DVD. MSRP is $49.95.
