SDCC07 - DC Comics 2007 Eisner Awards Winners

The winners of the 2007 Eisner Awards were announced on Friday, July 24, at Comic-Con International: San Diego 2007, with DC Comics projects and creators taking home 14 awards — more than any other publisher.


DC’s 2007 Eisner Award winners are:

Best Short Story
• “A Frog’s Eye View,” by Bill Willingham and James Jean, in FABLES: 1,001 NIGHTS OF SNOWFALL (Available for reorder — JUL060245)

In addition, DC Comics staff members and contributors Joe Orlando, Wayne Boring, and Ross Andru & Mike Esposito were voted into the Hall of Fame, along with Judges’ choices Robert Kanigher and Ogden Whitney.

Neil Gaiman, co-creator of THE SANDMAN, won the Bob Clampett Humanitarian Award. Gardner Fox won the Bill Finger Award for Excellence in Comics Writing.
