The Master of Magnetism Returns with a Vengeance

News of the upcoming X-Men spin-off, Magneto has been scarce in the last few months, but the folks over at ObssessedWithFilm.com have broken some big news on the project. In a recent post, they gave several details from a draft of screeenwriter David Goyer's script (Writer of the Blade films and Batman Begins), including major plot points and a few great details.

We won't spoil much for you here, but word on the street is that the film will be a period piece following Erik Lehnsherr on a global hunt for vengeance against Nazi's who experimented on him after he destroyed the iron gates at a Auschwitz (as seen in the first film). Fans can expect to see the famed Marvel villain's normal life (with a very fitting dayjob), abuse at the hands of men, and events leading to his decision to eliminate the human race. The story apparently spans three continents over several years and will feature cameo's from the Marvel universe, including some characters involved with Lehnsherr during his later years as the Mast of Magnetism, Magneto.
