Warner Bros has announced the director for their upcoming Justice League of America movie, and fans can rest assured the iconic DC team is in good hands. Veteran filmmaker George Miller, whose credits include Mad Max and last year's Happy Feet will helm the picture, which is currently slated for a summer 2009 release. JLA is being projected as the studio's tentpole project for that year, so fans can expect A-list talent to be involved both in front of the camera and behind-the-scenes. While rumors circulated that the film would be a motion-capture or animated picture, industry insiders believe that it will need to be an F/X laden, live-action extravaganza to serve as a major superhero blockbuster for DC and Warner Bros.
