SuperHeroTimes: Given the success of Hasbro's Star Wars Unleashed Battle Packs, can fans hope to see Marvel characters get the same treatment? (Like 3 X-men and a villain or a Fantastic Four set?)
Answer: We don't have any current plans for Mini-Unleashed figures but it is something we're evaluating. If there is continued strong consumer demand for the Unleashed expression in the Marvel Universe we will continue to offer up great characters and products!
SHT: Any developments on the Hasbro.com store where fans can purchase products from you directly?
A: Definitely some new developments on this front. First and foremost, from an international perspective we've heard the collector ask for more options and the Toyshop team is hard at work on providing some new shipping solutions for Canada right now. Additionally, Hasbrotoyshop.co.uk is up and running as well! The Toy Shop will also be involved in getting our Fan's Choice winner into the hands of collectors and for those who want to build an army of Hydra, you'll have an opportunity to pick up some extra soldiers from the Toyshop late in the year!
SHT: Should the Hydra Soldiers be successful in ML wave 3, will Hasbro be releasing more army builders, and can you tell us any that we might we see in the future?
A: Having an Army Builder in the Legends line is an exciting new concept and so far the reaction has been overwhelmingly positive. There are some great possibilities to take this further so if it becomes evident that fans and collectors want more you will probably see more in the pipeline!
SHT: Will Hasbro be releasing any more 5" figure lines that match the Fantastic Four 2 and Spider-man 3 Movie figures, or has that scale run it's course?
A: Both of these lines were very successful so we wouldn't say that the 5" scale has run it's course. Kid's really embraced the 5" figure line and collectors embrace the 6". Right now you'll see examples of both on the shelves. Scale is just one factor that is looked at for each and every line as is the average age of the consumer.
SHT: Between Toys R' Us' Black Queen and the Walmart two-packs, several Marvel Legends exclusives are hitting brick-and-mortar stores in the next six months. Will online retailers be able to carry exclusives in the future as well?
A: A definite possibility…in fact there is a Wolverine PX exclusive available through Diamond that will be hitting shelves in another month or so.
