Brian Singer will need to find new scribes for his next Superman installment. Dan Harris and Michael Dougherty, the writers of Superman Returns (and X2), will not be penning the next big screen installment for the Man of Steel. Variety reports that both men have decided to pursue solo projects which they will not only write but direct as well. While waiting for greenlight from Warner Bros. and Legendary Pictures, Dougherty has already finished another project, the upcoming horror film Trick 'R Treat, and Harris has begun work on his own film entitled, I, Lucifer.
