Marvel's Editor-in-Chief Joe Quesada recently discussed the slated Avengers movie with MTV and gave his picks for the team's major players on-screen. Quesada is quoted as saying, "It would be Captain America, Thor, and Iron Man,... if you had those three characters, you have a tremendous Avengers movie." He then described the trio as a "Holy Trinity" at Marvel and said anyone could be added as long as those three are in place. Given the extensive number of characters who have been Avengers at one time or another, Marvel has a laundry list of possible additions to an on-screen team.
