Warner Home Video to release new JLA DVD

Warner Home Video has announced that their latest DC-Direct-to-DVD release will be an animated feature based on the 2004 graphic novel, DC:The New Frontier. The DVD, entitled JLA: The New Frontier, was produced by Bruce Timm and follows the epic saga of the founding of the Justice League. Featured voice talent includes David Boreanaz, Brooke Shields, Lucy Lawless, Neil Patrick Harris, Miguel Ferrer, Kyra Sedgwick, Jeremy Sisto, and Kyle MacLachlan.

Both a single disc and two-disc special edition version will be available. Both sets will include a documentary on the history of the Justice League, audio commentaries, and a sneak peek at the upcoming DVD Batman: Gotham Night, which will be released prior to The Dark Knight. The two-disc set will also contain a documentary entitled, "Legion of Doom: The Pathology of the Super Villain", plus three bonus episodes from the Justice League animated series.
