DC Direct is proud to announce a new series of connecting statues of their primary superhero team, The Justice League of America. Sculpted by Alterton Bizarre, the new statue will be divided into three connecting parts and based on the legendary cover art of "Justice League of America" #7, drawn by artist Ed Benes. The modern “build-a-figure” trend will be incorporated through the inclusion of the bonus Red Tornado character (all three parts are need to assemble him).
Each of the three statue parts includes two DC’s most popular superheroes and a piece of The Red Tornado bonus statue. The first part of the statue includes Batman and Wonder Woman and will be released on August 13, 2008, at an SRP OF $150 US. Each component to the statue will be approx 8” tall and 5” wide, making the final statue approx, 8” by 15”. The second part of the statue will include Superman and Black Canary as well as the torso of the Red Tornado. The third part will feature Green Lantern and The Flash. With the head and cape of Red Tornado.
The limited edition, hand-painted statue will be made of cold-cast porcelain and include a certificate of authenticity and be packaged in a 4-color window box. Minor assembly is required.
