Fans who want to create their own lore for the Marvel Universe will be able to do so thanks to the upcoming release of Marvel Heroes Comic Book Creator 2.0 from Planetwide Media. The new software, compatible with Windows Vista, includes design templates and official licensed images from Marvel and will allow fans to create their own Marvel Comics with characters like Wolverine, Spider-man, and Elektra. Fans will also be able to personalize Marvel comics and print them off for personal use or e-mail them to friends. While the characters included in the initial CBC2 package are limited, software "booster packs" will be available in the future and include characters like Hulk, Iron Man, and Captain America. Marvel Heroes Comic Book Creator is currently available for $49.99, and version 2.0 should be out by the end of 2008.
