Comics had a good month in January. With the release of a number of big launches, like Brand New Day for Spider-man and the new Loeb/McGuinness Hulk (featuring Hulk in red), single issues saw healthy sales, with Marvel dominating the top ten and DC filling out many of the 11-20 spots. Graphic novels showed strength as well, with top-twenty sales spread primarily across Marvel, DC, and Dark Horse.
