February's top-selling books showed less strength than last month, but popular graphic novels and single titles still held strongly. The slight drop of the best-sellers should not concern or worry collectors, however.

January saw the release of many new launches, which buyers likely purchased to see whether or not they would enjoy the new story. The lack of support for those stories in their next issues simply shows that not everyone who bought the first issue wanted to continue that series. This is not necessarily reflective of comics as a whole taking a hit, as much as the failure of the new launches to retain readers.

Marvel continued to hold onto the majority of the top ten spots, with DC getting into a few and staying strong in the bottom half of the top twenty. The top sales on the graphic novel charts were spread across several companies, including Marvel, DC, and Dark Horse.
