Stan Lee to Receive Honor at NYCC

Stan Lee, co-creator of many of Marvel's most popular characters, will be a Guest of Honor at New York Comic Con this year, according to convention planners gearing up for the show this April. Appearing at several panels, Lee will receive the first ever New York Comics Legend Award, to be presented, April 17, 2008 at 8:00 PM at a special VIP Party at the Virgin Megastore in Times Sqaure.

The award was created by the NYCC to honor the greatest contributors to the world of comic books who also happen to come from New York City. A number of limited tickets will be made available for fan purchase starting March 28 via the NYCC site.
