Above are the first two 6" scale Watchmen action figures, coming from DC Direct in January 2009. The figures pictured are prototypes based on the appearance of Night Owl and Rorshach in the film and represent only the "tip of the iceberg" so-to-speak of the many Watchmen collectibles and tie-ins sure to accompany the release of the film. Two other figures will be debuted at NYCC this weekend.

Directed by 300 director Zach Snyder, Watchmen is set for release on March 6, 2009, and is positioned to be the major spring success for that year.
