Fans of Mattel's DC Universe Classics line of action figures will be happy to know the Four
Horsemen have revealed two new characters to be included in one of the
forthcoming waves: Lightray and Amazo (above/below).

A high-spirited New God, Lightray (at top) first appeared in
New Gods #1 (February 1971). A protector of New Genesis
from the evils of Apokolips and its rule Darkseid, Lightray has the
power to manipulate photons and create light blasts, heat rays, lasers
and holograms as well as fly at the speed of light.
Amazo, an android nemesis built by Professor Ivo to battle the
Justice League of America, first appeared in The Brave and the
Bold # 30 (June 1960). Using absorption cells to copy the powers
of those super beings he comes into contact with, Amazo has
replicated Superman's strength, The Flash's speed, Wonder Woman's magic
lasso, and Green Lantern's power ring.
