While this summer's big Marvel movies are The Incredible Hulk and Iron Man, next summer will bring fans X-Men Origins: Wolverine, the prequel story of Logan currently planned for a May 2009 release. Source: MTV.com recently spoke with actor Hugh Jackman (a.k.a Logan/Wolverine) who is very excited about the role and the current project's different tone from the previous X-Men films. Jackman told MTV.com,
“It feels different, ...But I don’t think its going be night and day. ...We are dealing with a character who is probably one of the darker comic book characters ever created [,and] tonally, I would put [this film] more in the ‘Batman Begins’ sort of realm, ...that’s sort of where we’re headed.”
Wolverine: Origins also stars Liev Schreiber, Dominic Monaghan and Ryan Reynolds. Check the link below for the full interview.
