Universal just released some new pictures from the upcoming film starring Edward Norton and Liv Tyler, and in those pictures we get our first look at the serum that was used to create Captain America during World War II! In the film, William Hurt’s General Thunderbolt Ross tells Tim Roth’s Emil Blonsky about a weapons program initiated during World War II to create a “super soldier” before giving him an injection of the formula. Only instead of creating another Super Soldier in Blonsky it of course creates the mindless creature known as Abomination.
