According to VARIETY today Sara Pezzini or as she is better known in comic book circles, WITCHBLADE; may finally be making her way to the silver screen.

Platinum Studios, Top Cow Productions. and Arclight Films will be teaming to bring the hit Top Cow comic book series to the screen in the near future.

The comic book introduced us to Sara and the Witchblade mythology, which centers on an jewel-encrusted gauntlet that gives extraordinary powers to the wearer, a female who is chosen every generation.

We can only hope it does far better than the failed TV series from a few years back.
