With the recent success of Marvel in Hollywood, the worlds #2 toymaker has reacquired the worldwide distribution rights to more than 1,000 hours of animated programming based on it's properties.

While there is no real word on what is coming when, we imagine that Hasbro will be releasing these classic shows on DVD or Blu-Ray sometime in the near future. This is a big announcement for fans of animation and toys in general! It's very apparent that, with the success of Transformers on the silver screen and next years G.I. Joe film Hasbro wants to have complete control over their intellectual properties.
