A second film from Zack Snyder based upon the amazing graphic novel Watchmen will be coming to DVD a few short days after the release of the film in theaters, according to The New York Times.

The Snyder-directed animated film will be entitled "Black Freighter" and will follow a side-story of a shipwreck that ties into the feature film story. The DVD will also include a documentary-style film called “Under the Hood” that will delve into the characters’ backstories. Also included in the Times story are some details on the DVD releases of the films, and what's in store for fans when it comes to an Ultimate version release of the films.
