Running Press is publishing a very cool new book, The DC Vault: A Museum-in-a-Book ($49.95) in October. This chronicle of America’s oldest comic publisher will contain more than 25 plastic-encased archival pieces for readers to pull out and examine.

Included in the collection are exact reproductions of early sketches, covers, memos, press materials, a working model of a 1942 Junior Justice Society of America Decoder, plus original pencils and inks from Wonder Woman #63.

Now, I own the Walt Disney Company Archive books like this that were released some time ago, and I WILL be picking this one up for sure! These books are always very cool to flip through, and the amount of items they reproduce is sometimes staggering!

And Running Press also released a book just like this for Marvel Comics, so this is going to be a very nice addition indeed!
