R.I.P. Michael Turner

After a long courageous battle against bone cancer, Michael Turner has passed away. The Fathom and Witchblade Creator was 37 years old.

Turner was diagnosed with bone cancer in 2000 and later had surgery that removed over three pounds of bone including his entire hip and 40% of his pelvis. Turner underwent over 9 months of radiation therapy and battled his disease courageously over the past eight years before succumbing to complications on June 27th.

We here at Superherotimes.com and the entire Action On-Line family mourn the loss of one of the most influential comic book artists and creators in years. Michaels Family and Friends are in our thoughts during this sad time.
