This past weekend at Wizard World Chicago we stumbled upon the amazing DC Direct Booth where your trusty Senior Editor spent well over an hour taking pictures and frankly drooling over the amazing items on display!

DC Direct had the Watchmen figures and busts on display and it’s safe to say they were simply amazing. The figures themselves are spectacular in person and it was nice to see that figures like the Comedian and Rorschach have interchangeable heads. Or The Comedian at least does. Rorschach has what appeared to be a interchangeable mask since the blot on his mask changes throughout the book and more than likely the movie. The busts on hand were phenomenal! And the 1:6th scale Rorschach is something we hope to take a closer look at when it’s released this fall. I can’t tell you how much these figures simply knock ones socks off in person. We here at Superherotimes.com can not WAIT for this film, or these toys!

After moving on from the Watchmen items we stumbled upon a smattering of DC Character items from DC Direct, featuring the new 1:6th scale figures of Green Lantern, Supergirl, Black Canary, Joker, Harley Quinn and Sinestro! These DC Direct Deluxe Figures are fine examples of the sheer artistry and genius at work over at DC Direct, the Sinestro is simply spectacular and Harley Quinn is dead on!

And all by his lonesome was the 1:6th scale figure for The Spirit! He was awesome to see and that makes two films with toys from DC we can’t wait for!

We also got to take a look at the 1:1 scale bust for the Joker and it is without a doubt the most eerie and freaky bust ever designed!

Also sitting in a glass case was some of the offerings for The Dark Knight, including the DC Direct 1:6th scale figures which we have already reviewed HERE. Upon seeing the busts, statues and props being offered we knew that DC Direct was going to be HOT for the rest of the year!

DC Direct had some new offerings from their exciting World of Warcraft line on hand as well, which upon seeing them will make any hardcore fan of the worlds largest MMORPG giddy with excitement!
