This is oh so sweet. Iron Man Director Jon Favreau and Marvel Films have signed a deal that will return him to the helm of the big Iron ship!

Speculation has run wild over the past two months that while Favreau was asking for a modest raise after the success of the first film, Marvel was offering a sum that was not much more than the director received for the first film. There were strong rumors, even from Jon himself that he wouldn't be returning. But now all of those rumors can be thrown to the curve!

Iron Man 2 is scheduled for an April 2010 release.
