Official word hit the streets of the internet today, announcing the replacement of Emily Blunt as the Black Widow with the amazing Scarlett Johansson. We also learned the role that Mickey Rourke will be playing will be "Whiplash, a character that includes elements from that comic book villain and Crimson Dynamo, another Russian baddie."

Overall, we had learned that Rourke was being considered for the role some time ago, and had heard Blunt would be replaced with another actress. Now that we are nearing the start of filming and these little tidbits have started flowing. And that, my friends is good news!
